Dancers from our performance troupe “Raqs Sharqi – Bel 'anan”
are available for performances at corporate functions and private functions such as birthday parties and bridal showers.

•  We DO NOT perform at bachelor parties or for parties where the gender is of male majority.

•  Our style is more gypsy-like than cabaret and our performers range in age from late teens to woman in their 50's.

•  Please note that it is the ‘art' of the dance which we wish to share with you and not a ‘body show'.

Bridal Showers and Events requiring guest interaction:
* 1 Performer
* Show Duration:
45 – 60 minute demonstration of belly dance movements with guest interaction which includes a 5-10minute performance.
* Fee Structure - R500, 00

Community Events:
RSDC offers a limited number of charity performances per year for non-profit organizations and special community events.

Corporate Functions:
* Show Duration:
25-30 minute performance, OR two separate +- 15minute performances with a
maximum of ½ hour between slots.
* Fee Structure - R600.00 per performer.
* Discounted fee where 3 or more performers are required.

Private Functions:
* Show Duration: 25-30 minute performance.
* Fee Structure - R500.00 per performer.
* Discounted fee where 3 or more performers are required.

NB Fees are subject to travel within the Pietermaritzburg City area and immediate surrounds. Additional travel and/or overnight costs will be included where performances are further a field.
